The King Room had a lovely decor and felt very clean. The electric kettle was a nice touch, along with complimentary biscuits. Breakfast was fantastic. homemade granola and perfectly cooked eggs benedict were highlights. The pub's cozy atmosphere made dining an enjoyable experience. the room was quite small, only a bit bigger than the bed. With no windows and just skylights, the room felt enclosed, especially on a warm night. Noise from the beer garden made it difficult to sleep until late.

Unfortunately, we faced several issues during our stay. The room was extremely small, only just a bit bigger than the double bed and lacked windows, which made it feel quite confined. noise from the beer garden outside kept us awake until late at night, and despite the owner offering heating, the room felt excessively warm due to the radiator being on maximum.

Comfortable room with lovely touches, like coffee pods, and a pub meal that was absolutely fabulous!

The service was lekker and Ian was super helpful. Ended up having the best homemade scotch egg ever! Food was presented so nicely, defs worth the wait with a pint of local cider in hand!

Amazing stay! The King Room was perfect, featuring a private entrance, walk-in shower, and all the comfy amenities like a coffee machine and streaming service. What a treat to enjoy delicious meals, with great views outside and no light pollution for stargazing at night. Can’t wait to return to this hidden gem!

Spacious room with high ceilings, but lacks luggage storage. Breakfast was amazing!

Breakfast was excellent, perfectly meeting my requirements for a work trip. The landlord was hospitable, and the pub food in the evening was very good, providing a great end to the day. There were also lovely fields nearby for walking my dog.
